Education & Learning

We offer education and learning through visits to the sanctuary incorporating a learning journey, that is age appropriate, through an interactive experience with the pigs at the sanctuary.

Children are taken on a tour meeting the animals, feeding and learning about them as they go around. We provide treat buckets and they can feed and touch the animals whilst learning. These visits can be linked in with school topics, projects or curriculum. It is designed to be a hands-on experience, but for those who are not comfortable or unable to touch or feed the animals on religious grounds can simply watch and learn in order to be part of the visit too.

We welcome schools, the scout and guide movement, adults and children with additional needs and also offer one-to-one sessions for people with assessments of autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression and other mental health conditions.

We have grown rapidly as an education and wellbeing centre and learning through these highly intelligent animals has proved to be a great success, building confidence, understanding and bringing enjoyment in a unique way in a peaceful environment.
